Major Rock Cut Improves Road Safety at Gelligemlyn

Dawnus are making excellent progress on this technically difficult scheme within the Snowdonia National Park near a European Special Area of Conservation (S.A.C.).
The scheme includes major rock excavation of 100,000 tonnes within the steeply sloping valley side in order to improve alignment and ensure the stability of the A470 just north of Dolgellau.
Working with NWTRA and Gwynedd Consultancy , the scheme will remove a bottleneck on the Welsh Strategic Highway Network.
