We were awarded the first phase of a £330m development on a former opencast site at Llanharan, South Wales to build four film studios, ranging in size up to 30,000sq ft and capable of recording anything from quiz shows to blockbuster movies.
This Design and Build Contract consisted of structural steel framed buildings which have a mixture of insulated cladding and curtain walling and are fitted out with two storey offices and core welfare amenities.
Externally we constructed an 800m access road off the A473, car parking facilities and extensive hard and soft landscaping.
