The 1185m² project consists of the construction of a BREEAM Excellent Rated 130 pupil single storey traditional construction primary School. The project includes classrooms, two general purpose halls, a library, a medical room, reception and an all weather astro turf with floodlights. The Construction has stepped concrete strip foundations, ground bearing insitu floor slabs, traditional brick faced and rendered cavity wall construction with a reconstituted slate tile on cut rafters and glulam purlins on load bearing blockwork. Polyester powder coated aluminium timber composite windows and doors, commercial quality aluminium main entrance doors with timber internal doors & screens.
Services include low pressure hot water heating system, electrical installation, fire alarm and emergency lighting. Ancillary work includes access road, carpark, external services, drainage and landscaping work and the cycle way / footpath access route from Synod Inn.
