| This £13.9 million Design and Build project involves the construction of a six storey, 92,000 ft² high quality office building in central Southampton for developers Atlantic Properties and Southampton City Council. The project includes an underground car park, with a five storey reinforced concrete frame and a structural steel sixth storey and roof. The structure is clad with high specification glazing and Portland stone to create an aesthetically striking building to house many of the Council’s facilities. The finishes are to a very high standard, with grade A materials throughout. The mechanical and electrical installation includes the use of a district heating system, which provides sustainable heat generation, with air source heat pump back-up, all of which contributes to a BREEAM Excellent rating.. The landmark project in central Southampton is being delivered for Atlantic properties, who have been a key client to Dawnus for several years. |
