3 year framework contract for Traffic Wales to construct variable message signs and CCTV camera bases along the A470 and A55 trunk road corridors. The message sign bases were constructed on piled foundations under stringent traffic management control.

As well as the sign bases the works included associated parking bays, retaining walls, cabinets, handrails, safety fencing, ducting. cabling access paths and steps.

The key factors that enabled Dawnus to successfully deliver this project were close liaison with the highways authorities and the police. Additional site investigation to establish the exact site conditions. Meticulous planning to take into account every possible eventuality. Choice of subcontractors with local knowledge and experience. Staff and workforce with vast experience of working under fast lane closure conditions.
