Dawnus Construction was formed in 2001 by experienced engineers with proven track records in the delivery of complex projects.
Since its foundation, Dawnus has delivered a considerable number of civil engineering and building schemes under various conditions of contract, which have contributed to the steady growth of the Company. The Company has grown from £2 million turnover in 2002 to £135 million in 2011.
In 2005, Dawnus took over the staff and contracts of Butterley Construction, which added a number of highly experienced staff to our team. This also enabled us to carry out our planned expansion into North Wales.

Further expansion took place in 2005 with the opening of an office in Exeter, in 2009 with an office in Newbury, and most recently with the opening of a regional office in Bromsgrove.
In 2010 Dawnus also began its first contract overseas, having secured a £70m road and rail building project in Sierra Leone.
