This project involved the design and construction of two new BREEAM Excellent accommodation buildings: Plot 20, for Devon and Cornwall Housing and Plot 10, a speculative development.
The completed steel frame structures consist of brickwork cavity walls, curtain wall glazing, aluminium windows, steel fire exit doors and insulated cladding panels. The completed offices have an internal area of approximately 3185m2 (Plot 20) and 1940m2 (Plot 10), each over three floors.
External works included construction of car parks, external paving, new foul sewer systems, connected to a new foul system in the adoptable highway and a new storm water system. We also carried out the construction of a new 120m access road, complete with all associated drainage, street lighting and associated landscaping.
We also constructed a new boulevard including feature pond fed by a rainwater harvesting system, and new HV infrastructure works for the future site developments.
